Tip: Watch short YouTube or TikTok videos about digital safety or mysteries, then write down the main idea and two supporting details

Mindfulness: 🧘 Before watching, take 3 deep breaths and set the intention to focus only on the 'main idea.'
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Summarize 3 short videos (max 3 minutes each) in one sentence each.

Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Watch three mystery videos from different Youtube channels and write down the answers in separate sheets. Then compare the answers and try to answer the following question: “What did the three videos have in common?”

Mindfulness: 🧘 While listening, keep one hand on your chest and notice how your breath flows as you focus on the speaker.
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Listen to 2 podcast episodes and write down 3 new words from each.

Mindfulness: 🧘 Mute all notifications in your phone, concentrate on how the voices changes, identify the roles of each person in the story telling and try to image what the main character went through.
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Listen to the podcast twice more during the week and try to focus on how their voice tones changes as the story progresses and write down a list of 10 new words you learnt.
Tip: Watch a movie clip or TV series in English with subtitles and identify one idiom and the character’s attitude.
When: 🕒 Outside the class
Mindfulness: 🧘 Pause the clip, take a breath, and reflect: 'What feeling am I noticing in the character’s tone?'
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Collect 5 idioms or expressions from shows and create a mini poster with their meaning.

Mindfulness: 🧘 Take a moment to recall or investigate what you should do in case of a fire emergency.
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Report the incident to another person. Using your own words, try to explain what happened, the reactions and feelings and how it ended.
Tip: Read a short article or comic about a mystery or digital tool and highlight dates, names, and results.

Mindfulness: 🧘 Before reading, close your eyes for 10 seconds and imagine yourself as a 'detective' looking for clues.
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Read 2 articles and create a 'clue chart' listing dates, causes, and conclusions.
Tip: Use online news (BBC Newsround, CNN10) and practice skimming headlines and scanning one article for details.

Mindfulness: 🧘 After finishing one article, pause and smile before moving on—acknowledge your effort.
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Skim 5 headlines per day for a week and write down one overall idea from them.
Over the next couple of weeks, I will apply the following strategies to improve my speaking and writing
Tip: Write a short review of a film or series and post it on your favourite social media or share it with your friends over WhatsApp.

Mindfulness: 🧘 Before writing, close your eyes for 15 seconds, visualise the scenes you liked, and focus only on describing them clearly.
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Write 2 short reviews (100 words each) and share them with a classmate for peer feedback.
Tip: Create a digital poster (Canva/Slides) describing an urban legend or invention with 3 supporting examples.

Mindfulness: 🧘 Take 3 deep breaths, then imagine explaining the topic to a person who does not know about the subject —keep it simple and clear.
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Post one description in the class forum and comment on at least 2 classmates’ posts.
Tip: Prepare a 3-slide presentation on 'How to stay safe online' or 'Positive impacts of technology.'

Mindfulness: 🧘 Practice the day before the presentation. Write down key vocabulary of what you’re going to present in flashcards, breathe deeply, and imagine you are talking to an imaginary audience.
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Deliver one mini-presentation in class or record it and self-evaluate.
Tip: Write a short news article using passive voice and relative clauses.

Mindfulness: 🧘 After finishing the first draft, pause, stretch your hands, and re-read calmly to notice mistakes.
Weekly Challenge: ✍️ Revise one piece of writing each week, highlight grammar structures, and share with a peer.
